We hold sales of Antiques and Collectables on the first Saturday of each month.
Viewing is two days prior to each sale, on Thursday 10am - 5pm & Friday 10am - 7pm, and from 9am on Sale Saturday.
With a masters degree in Fine Art and over 40 years in the antiques trade, Ron Bateman is our senior partner and valuer at Batemans.
His passions include fine paintings and prints, books, clocks, objects d'art and pre-18th century furniture as well as portrait miniatures and items of unusual architectural interest.
A joint partner and valuer in the firm since 2001, Kate is probably the most widely recognised at Batemans due to her regular appearances as an on-screen expert for the popular BBC TV antiques programmes Flog it! and Bargain Hunt. Kate specialises in all things small: pottery and porcelain, jewellery, silver, objects d'art, militaria, stamps and coins, etc etc.
She is no fan of the recent move to HD (high definition) television!
Renowned for his colourful waistcoats, David is our regular auctioneer for our monthly Fine Art, Antiques & Collectables sales.
David has also featured as an expert on Flog It! and is available as a freelance auctioneer for charity events
