Every prospective buyer should complete and sign a registration form before making a bid at auction. You will be given a number which you should hold up for the auctioneer to see if you are bidding.
If you cannot attend the sale you can complete a commission bid form which instructs Batemans to bid on a lot on your behalf. Since this service is undertaken as a free service to prospective buyers on the terms stated, we cannot accept liability for failure to make a commission bid. Prospective buyers should therefore always attend personally if they wish to be certain of bidding. PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the prospective buyer to contact Batemans after the completion of the sale to establish whether their bid was successful and to arrange collection and payment within the allotted three days following the sale.
Batemans can also arrange to contact bidders to enable them to participate in the bidding by telephone - please complete a form available at the office.
